HEAD Racquet rebels dominate first round of davis cup 2014

It was a weekend of HEAD Racquet Rebels, who dominated the first round of the Davis Cup 2014. Andy Murray was helping Britain to a first quarterfinal since 1986 in a 3-1 win over the US on clay in San Diego. Murray, the world No. 6, who endorses the YouTekTM Graphene Radical, won his opening single against Donald Young and beat Sam Querrey in reverse singles to complete the historic success.

"It's different in Davis Cup. You have a responsibility to your teammates to play well, but at the same time I have a lot of experience," said Murray. "You know how to deal with it. We have a really good team spirit; I've known a lot of the team for a really long time. It's just nice to play with those guys."
Berdych took the two-time champion Czech Republic into the quarter-finals of the Davis Cup World Group, completing a personal weekend victory in a 3-1 win over the Netherlands. The ATP No. 7, who endorses the YouTekTM Graphene Instinct, clinched the tie by beating fellow Racquet Rebel Thiemo de Bakker 6-1, 6-4, 6-3. The Czechs, winners of the last two Davis Cup editions, will travel to Japan for the quarter-final in April.
Australian Open semi-finalist Berdych won his opening singles over Igor Sijsling in straight sets and teamed with formidable HEAD partner Radek Stepanek for the doubles wins. “We really wanted to win this one,” said Berdych.
In Frankfurt, HEAD's Tommy Haas put in a winning doubles performance alongside Philipp Kohlschreiber for a defeat of Spaniards David Marrero and Fernando Verdasco 7-6(5), 6-7(9), 7-6(7), 6-3 as Germany reached the quarter-finals 4-1. Also contributing was HEAD Racquet Rebel Florian Mayer, who won his single against Feliciano Lopez 7-6(8), 7-6(4), 1-6, 5-7, 6-3. 
France, with HEAD's Richard Gasquet, who recommends the YouTekTM IG Extreme, swamped Australia 5-0 with Gasquet beating Nick Kyrgios 7-6(3), 6-2, 6-2 and winning the deciding third point in the doubles alongside Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
In Paris at the Open GDF Suez, Racquet Rebel Maria Sharapova played her second semi-final of the season after her return from a shoulder injury in early 2014. The Russian who endorses the YouTekTM Graphene Instinct won the first set but was defeated 6-4, 3-6, 4-6 by Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
In Pattaya, HEAD's Peng Shuai won the doubles title with partner Zhang Shuai over the third-seeded team of Russian Alla Kudryavtseva and Anastasia Rodionova from Australian 3-6, 7-6(5),  10-6 (Match TB). It was the first title for Peng and Zhang. Peng now owns 13 WTA doubles honours.
