New in our assortment: Klip natural gut tennis strings

New: Klip synthetic gut tennis strings

We extend our range of tennis strings with a series of natural gut tennis strings from the brand called "Klip". "Klip" is short for "Klipspringer", an Australian manufacturer specialising in the production of strings since 1920.

In the 30’s, the company began producing natural gut tennis strings, which immediately became popular. The first strings were made from mutton, but it didn’t take long for Klip to start innovating. The world’s first string made from inedible beef serosa ribbons was soon developed. Beef was chosen because its tensile strength is higher than that of mutton.
Soon, Dunlop and others were buying all their strings from Klip. The relationship with Dunlop continued for many years, with both companies establishing themselves as market leaders.
In the late 80’s, thanks to Klip’s use of the finest raw materials and adherence to strict manufacturing procedures, the company formed relationships with some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, supplying them with natural gut sutures. For the same reasons, Klip strings are also found on some of the world’s best harps, violins and cellos.

Klip plans on being a big player in the string business for many more years to come.
Take a moment and have a look in the new Klip tennis strings assortment now available at TennisPlanet. Convince yourself from the great quality of Klip tennis strings.
