Wimbledon's first streaker immortalized on your Copa tennis shirt
Historical moment during the 1996 Wimbledon mens final!
23-year old Melissa Johnson wrote history as being the first streaker at Wimbledon. At the beginning of the mens final in 1996 between the Dutchman Richard Kraijcek and the American MaliVai Washington, Melissa Johnson ran naked on court, right in front of the players and the cameras.
It was at the exact moment when the players were being photographed at the net before warming up.
Johnson summed up her moment with the words "I didn't win Wimbledon but I survived centre court"
and immortalized herself in a picture voted one of the 50 greatest sports moments ever.
The shirt in retro look from the Copa brand including print of that historical moment is now available in your favourite webshop.
